Introduction to Japan

Japan the country of contrasts

No matter how many big cities - metropolis you have visited, the meeting with Tokyo, the capital of Japan, will take your breathe away like nothing else could do.
The greatness of this city is unbelievable and by first sight, you think that you will never find your way between the endless skyscrapers, neon signs and millions of people.
However, you will pretty soon sense calmness and start feeling safe. Everyone is kind, everything is well organized and well structured, and you will find yourself thinking; this can not be possible!
Well, this is what Japan is all about!

A few hours ride in the high-speed “Shinkansen” train from Tokyo, through country sides, beautiful landscapes, rice fields, tea fields, spectacular mountains, you will find Kyoto, for many considered as the heart of Japan. This is where you will find women in Kimonoes walking down the small curvy streets, amazing temple grounds with the most beautiful and peaceful Japanese gardens and a great number of small traditional Japanese restaurants. All of it will stimulate and challenge you senses.
Within the same distance from the metropolis of Tokyo, you will find mountain villages with small street markets, traditional Japanese guesthouses serving the most delicious food, offering Onsen baths (natural hot springs) - a treatment of body and soul
Here you will feel the time is standing still.
This is what Japan is also about!

Japan, is a country in constant change but also a country maintaining its tradition with the greatest pleasure. It has a magnificent capability to be one of the most developing countries in the world and yet hold on to its thousands of years old culture and values.
